Hopefully there are not any issues with the app but if you find anything amiss, please let us know at user@beeptraining.app

Below we list a few different quirks that you may encounter with the app.  Rest assured we are working on fixing them!

iOS

The workout display does not populate

After selecting the desired 'start level' and 'shuttle length' and tapping 'start', the user proceeds to the workout display which contains several fields that update as the workout progresses, including 'Elapsed Time', 'Level', and 'Shuttle'.  Occasionally these fields do not display correctly and will be blank (note that the audio will function correctly).  So when the page opens, you will hear the countdown to start the workout, but the display will look odd.

To fix this problem, simply close the app and reopen it.  You do not need to log out.  These display fields are driven by timers, and if the app remains open for extended periods, the timers eventually time out.

The workout does not immediately load

After selecting the desired 'start level' and 'shuttle length' and tapping 'start', the workout does not immediately load.  For longer workouts, depending on the network connection, it unfortunately can take around 30 seconds to load.  And we understand some people may give up before then...but the workout will eventually load and start.

There is currently no fix to this problem.  Note that it does not occur on Android but that is not much comfort for Apple users, and we are trying to fix it.  The only thing we can say right now is please be patient; the workouts are worth the wait!?
