Beep-HiiT - Quick Guide

In a practical sense Beep-HiiT workouts are exactly the same as Beep-Standard; place two markers between 8 and 20 metres apart on a flat, stable surface, and keep pace with the beeps.

The important difference is how levels are structured in Beep-HiiT.  During Beep-Standard levels always increase and therefore the participant is gradually running faster and faster as the workout progresses.  During HiiT, this is not the case.  There are lots of different workouts but in all of them, the levels change up and down during the workout.

Each Beep-HiiT workout is different.  Depending on the category, there is an obvious pattern to the level structure.  For this reason, you cannot select the 'Start Level' but you can select the 'Shuttle Length'.  Because there are so many workouts, the simplest thing to do is check them out; you will soon get the idea!

Take a look at a blog post on the HiiT workout naming conventions and workout categories; that should help with deciding where to start.
